Your First Disney Trip Checklist

What to book, when to book it, and what you can skip. From a local who does this every week.

Six or more months out

Pick your dates around school breaks and crowd levels. Book the resort and tickets. Text Richelle first; she does this part for free and watches for discounts after.

Sixty days out

Dining reservations open. This is the early-morning part Richelle handles for you. Character meals and popular restaurants go fast.

Thirty days out

Confirm transportation from the airport, stroller rental if needed, and any special experiences like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or dessert parties.

The week before

Download the My Disney Experience app, link your tickets and reservations, and review the day-by-day itinerary Richelle built for you.

What to skip

Do not pay a planning fee to anyone. Do not book through a third-party site that cannot re-price your room. Do not try to do Disney World without a plan, especially with young kids.

Ready to start planning?

Want Richelle to just handle it?

No research rabbit holes, no hold music, no hidden fees. Tell Richelle what you're dreaming of and she makes it happen.
